Lake Union Herald 

The Lake Union Herald is an Christian publication that circulates throughout the Lake Union Conference (consisting of the states of: Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana). For their January/February 2023 issue, they dove into the history of two notable African-American historical figures and their involvement with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

I had the opportunity to collaborate with a fellow graphic designer to art direct the photography for the cover of this issue. I also provided my own illustrations of the two historical-figures highlighted in the main story: one of which is featured on the front cover.
